Biography
Ali Rostami received his PhD degree in photonic/electronic engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1998. He is currently a full professor of electronic engineering and photonics science at the University of Tabriz. His teaching and research interests include optical integrated circuits and optoelectronic devices as well as solution processed based optical devices and systems. He is a member of the Optical Society of America. Also, he published more than 300 international refereed journal papers, 500 international conference papers, more than 15 Persian text books and 5 books in international publishers such as Springer-Verlag, Germany. Prof. Rostami contributed more than 10 book chapters in international publishers in USA and Europe. Dr. Rostami had a well-known academic person in industry and had more than 50 industrial research projects. He is founder and CEO of ASEPE Company, Tabriz, Iran.
