2D Materials and Layered Nanostructures

Further discussions may examine twistronics, superlattices, and correlated phases that emerge when atomically thin layers are stacked at controlled angles. Presentations will consider scalable ink and dispersion formulations, printed electronics, and roll-to-roll processing compatible with industrial volumes. Researchers will examine interface science, charge transfer, thermal transport, and mechanical properties measured at the nanoscale. Attention will be given to oxidation, ageing, and encapsulation strategies that extend device lifetimes. Tools for characterising layer number, stacking order, and twist angle over large areas will be reviewed. Topics such as 2D magnets, ferroelectrics, and valleytronics will be positioned as the next frontier.
