Further sessions may explore droplet microfluidics, digital assays, and high-throughput screening for drug discovery and single-cell analysis. Presentations will consider point-of-care cartridges, sample-to-answer workflows, and automated fluid handling for field use. Researchers will examine nanopore sensing of proteins, glycans, and epigenetic marks, and the data analysis required for accurate identification. Attention will be given to fouling, clogging, and reproducibility across devices and operators. Emerging directions in acoustofluidics, optofluidics, and paper-based nano-assays will be reviewed. Standards for clinical validation of chip-based tests will be encouraged.
