Nanobiosensors, Point-of-Care Diagnostics and Wearable Devices

Further discussions may examine flexible, stretchable, and textile-based sensors for continuous monitoring of glucose, lactate, electrolytes, stress markers, and wound status. Presentations will consider microneedle patches, sweat and interstitial fluid analysis, and readout through smartphones or low-power wireless electronics. Researchers will examine stability, drift, biofouling, and calibration across days of wear. Attention will be given to usability for older adults, rural clinics, and home settings, and to the ethics of continuous health data collection. Emerging areas such as CRISPR-based nanobiosensors and single-molecule detection will be reviewed. Standards for performance verification and data interoperability will be encouraged.
