Nanomedicine and Drug Delivery
Nano medicine leverages nanotechnology for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. By manipulating materials at the nanoscale (typically less than 100 nanometers), scientists can create new therapies and diagnostic tools that offer unprecedented precision and effectiveness. Utilizing nanoparticles to deliver drugs directly to diseased cells, thereby reducing side effects and improving efficacy. Enhancing imaging techniques such as MRI, CT scans, and ultrasounds with nanoparticles to achieve higher resolution and better disease detection.
